Voltaire Grid Director director-class switches and Grid Switch edge switches comprise the industry's leading InfiniBand switch family that offers high performance, low latency InfiniBand switching for clusters and grids. Voltaire switching solutions are available in a multitude of port counts to facilitate the deployment of powerful, yet cost-effective clusters ranging from a few to thousands of nodes.
The Voltaire Grid Director ISR 9288 is the industry's largest InfiniBand switching solution featuring 10 Gbps (or 20 Gbps with DDR) of full bisectional bandwidth for 288 ports in a single chassis. The Voltaire Grid Director ISR 9288 is ideal for large-scale HPC clusters.
For applications with lower port density requirements, a smaller version of the Grid Director ISR 9288 is available. The Grid Director ISR 9096 is the industry's highest performing multi-service switch for medium-to-large high performance computing clusters and enterprise grids. The Grid Director ISR 9096 supports up to 96 InfiniBand 4X (20 Gbps) ports (or 10 Gbps with SDR) , 32 InfiniBand 12X (30 Gbps) ports or 48 intelligent GbE or Fibre Channel ports.
The Voltaire Grid Switch ISR 9024 is a high performance, low latency, fully non-blocking edge or leaf switch with a throughput of 480 Gbps. The Grid Switch ISR 9024 is also perfectly-suited for small-to-medium-sized InfiniBand clusters as it includes all of the necessary management capabilities to function as a stand-alone switch. With twenty-four, 10 Gbps ports in a 1U chassis, the standards-based Grid Switch ISR 9024 delivers high bandwidth and low latency at affordable pricing.
The Voltaire Grid Switch ISR 6000 is a high performance, non blocking switching solution for database clusters and entry-level HPC configurations. The Grid Switch ISR 6000 is a modular solution that can function as an 8, 14 or 18 port InfiniBand switch and offers high performance connectivity to FC and IP networks.
